Shipping Policy (UK)

We offer free UK shipping on all orders, but you are also welcome to collect your item from our London office. We will not ship your item without first coordinating with you to ensure safe delivery. If you have any special shipping instructions please contact us after placing your order and we will be happy to accommodate your request.

We only use trusted, reliable delivery service providers, to ensure the safe delivery of your order. Items valued over £1000 will require you to sign for the delivery of your package. All items are shipped in our discrete, protective packaging, and tracking details will be provided to you.

Shipping Policy (International)

International shipping fees may vary according to destination and applicable taxes. For international shipments, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. The recipient is responsible for all local taxes and duties incurred.

Returns Policy

In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase and want to request an exchange or refund, you must inform us at hello@theclassicdiamondscompany.com and return the item to us within 14 days of receipt in accordance with our Return Shipping Policy (see below). Items must be returned in perfect condition, unworn and not tampered with in any way.

Due to the nature of bespoke jewellery, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on any bespoke, made to order, customised or altered items. Such items are made to the design and specifications which you have approved. If an item is found to be faulty or deviates from the agreed specifications, then we will rectify this without charge by either repairing the fault or replacing the product altogether. For hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns or exchanges of insertable items such as earrings.

If the purchased item has been tampered with in any way, altered by the customer, another jeweller or any other third party, the return policy will cease to apply.

Return Shipping

If you wish to exchange or return an item, email us at hello@theclassicdiamondscompany.com to coordinate your return so that we can process your request efficiently. We do not refund postage or courier fees unless an item is considered faulty or does not meet the agreed specifications.

All returns should be sent back in perfect condition, unworn, in the original packaging and with all original documents and certificates. We strongly advise that you use a tracked and fully insured service to return your item, and avoid displaying the word 'diamonds' on your parcel for security reasons. You should retain proof of posting and share tracking information with us when the item is dispatched.

The Classic Diamonds Company cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage in transit of returned items. If you are not returning an item in person and are unsure how to return it, please consult us about the best way to ship it and we will advise you.

Once your return has been received, we will conduct a careful inspection of the item to confirm the authenticity of the diamond(s) and ensure that the item is in its original condition before confirming and processing your request. Refund time may vary depending on your payment method.

This includes, but is not limited to, the right to produce and commercially offer further items based on the respective custom made goods. The Classic Diamonds Company reserves all rights to imagery related to the custom made goods. In particular, The Classic Diamonds Company is entitled to use this imagery for advertising purposes on all available channels, whether online or offline.

We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our site for business and operational reasons. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation.

Our Product and Services

The Classic Diamonds Company always strives to produce jewellery with the highest quality of craftsmanship and with a high priority placed on making jewellery that is wearable, comfortable and practical. Our main products and services fall into four categories:

Made to Order: These are existing designs of The Classic Diamonds Company which are offered on this website in a large variety of specifications, including different metal types, sizes and diamond carat weights. As we do not keep every variation of these designs in stock, the specific item you order might not be in stock at a particular time. If an item is not in stock when you order, we will make it to your specifications before shipping the item to you.

Customisation and Alterations: Our existing designs can be customised and altered in many ways without redesigning the original item. These customisations and alterations include, but are not limited to: personalised engravings, alternative earring backings, custom claw finishes and customer requests for diamond specifications other than those listed. We endeavour to accommodate all requests and can fulfil most requests free of charge. We reserve the right to charge for certain requests depending on the additional work required, or when a request significantly changes the value of the item (e.g. a request to use higher quality diamonds than those listed).

Bespoke Jewellery Service: Many of our customers prefer to commission us to design and make a unique item of jewellery. In close consultation with you, we will design your item of jewellery according to your description and specifications. Our design process draws on years of experience and makes use of cutting edge 3D printing and CAD design techniques. You will have unlimited opportunities to review and approve the final design and diamond specifications before we proceed to make your item of jewellery. All rings are made on a bespoke basis.

Exceptional Diamond Sourcing: Our longstanding relationships in the diamond cutting and trading industry and in diamond bourses around the world uniquely position us to source some of the most exceptional diamonds before they hit the market. Contact us privately about sourcing an exceptional diamond.

Most of the items on our website are made to order and therefore might not be in stock at a particular time. If an item is not in stock, we will make it according to your specifications before shipping the item to you. You are welcome to request any further customisation and we will endeavour to fulfil your request free of charge. You can also order bespoke items by contacting us directly with a description of your item and making use of our bespoke jewellery service.

While made to order items can be ordered via the website, any requests for further customisation or alteration should be added during checkout in the appropriate box, or communicated to us no later than 24 hours after placing the order through the website. If prior to ordering you have discussed a customisation or alteration with us, once you have placed the order online, please communicate your order number to us so that we are able to identify your order. We will review and contact you to confirm the details of your customisation before we proceed with making customised items.

Enquiries and Quotes

Making an enquiry with us does not oblige you to purchase any product or service, but you do agree to be bound by our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

For bespoke jewellery we only require a deposit after you have accepted our quote and before proceeding to the detailed design and diamond selection stage.

Any quote provided will be valid for 14 days. We will always endeavour to honour our quotes past this timeframe but due to fluctuations in diamond and gold prices we are not always able to do so. If the original quote is no longer valid, we will provide you the option to proceed with an updated quote.

Limitation on Liability

We are not liable for any damages that may occur to you as a result of your misuse of our website. We reserve the right to edit, modify, and change this Agreement at any time. This Agreement is an understanding between the company and the user, and this supersedes and replaces all prior agreements regarding the use of this website.

Applicable Law

If you are a consumer, note that these terms are governed by English law. We both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

If you are a business, these terms (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
